Long Range Fishing

We head towards the Gulf of Alaska fishing the Barren Islands just before reaching Kodiak or we hook a left and fish Elizabeth, Pearl, or even East Chugach Island. To accomplish this run we do need cooperating sea conditions.

When the weather cooperates, this is the trip where we get into larger halibut (not guaranteed, it’s still fishing) as well as rockfish, and potentially Lingcod if you are fishing after July 1st. The scenery that you will see on this trip is almost beyond belief. Between the sea creatures and islands it feels like you are in an episode of National Geographic. The variety of rock fish we find on the Pinnacles and the experience fishing this pristine area is one of the reasons this trip sells out up to a year in advance!
